This antique fencer's head guard, hailing from France,circa 1900  is a true gem for any vintage sporting goods collector. The green and brown antique leather has a lovely  patina  comes complete with a very rare antique fencers  suede hair bonnet that adds an extra layer of protection and comfort for the fencer. The mask is in good  condition apart from one of the top thick wire rods is a bit loose I've strengthened it with a little wire . See pics .It  and has been used previously, giving it an added sense of history and character. The makers name is illegible. But the bonnet has it's makers mark
