This is such a pretty textile!
So beautifully drawn and printed. Flowing motif of garden roses with birds perched and in flight. Dating from the late 19th century around 1880 or so.
Lovely soft gentry faded tones of raspberry reds, pinks, yellow oranges, greens and a tonal dusty rose on the gentle background floral sprigs. Background is creamy with a soft yellow hue. Lovely soft woven medium weight cotton with light texture and soft hand. Small hand stitched hem at bottom.

Condition: Very good. Just a few light marks that I note. See last photos.
Please see photos and use zoom as part of item description.

Overprinted selvedge edges intact @33"
Approximate  measurements - 33" x 29.5"

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
