Undated, written inscriptions dated Christmas 1877, this is a very nice Victorian Miniature Book of Common Prayer, bound in decorative full leather binding, titled and decorated in gilt, page edges gilded all-round, a small slim format measuring 3.75 inches by 2.25 inches approx. a previous owner has handmade a cloth bookcase with ties.
The book was originally given as a present to a Miss L.
Wilson Christmas 1877, with a little bookplate to front pastedown, another
little Christmas greetings card had been pasted to the opposing endpaper, this
has come loose leaving glue residue to the page, a few creased page corners within
else in nice general condition, light rubbing wear to binding
