Selling this vintage, Hard to Find, state of Florida tablecloth by Belcrest brand (although not tagged or marked - determined after research). 1950s souvenir map kitsch Florida. PRE-DISNEY & It has Collier City (which makes this tablecloth prior to 1957 when Collier City was changed to Marco Island). Includes such famous places as:

Miami Beach Fontainebleau

Palm Beach Biltmore

flamingos

Palm Beach

St. Petersburg

Dog races

Trailer Camp

Fountain of Youth

Gateway to Calypso

Old Slave Market, St. Augustine

Horse Races

The design features south Florida prominently with the Biltmore and Fontainebleau Hotels, tourist trailer camps, calypso musicians, and of course, palm trees and flamingos.

Pre-Disney, no Disney World on map.

Measures 47"x64". Fabric is a cotton/rayon blend.

Good vintage condition, some light yellow marks which you should be able to lighten or remove with gentle soak or cleaning. Will leave laundering to new owner to use their preferred method. I have pictured those yellow marks that I mentioned above in pictures using a quarter to show size of mark. A note about vintage linens: It is rare to find vintage tablecloths or other linens in "perfect" condition. Even those that have clearly been unused (i.e., still in packaging) may show soil from aging or improper storage.  FRESH FROM AN ESTATE SALE!

This is a beautiful and hard to find piece of Florida history and culture, in wonderful condition. Colors are vivid and bright. Has lovely orange/peachy colors and blue tones/teals.

This design is by Belmont which began back in the late 1940s, when tourists flocked to south Florida for winter vacations. First, this tablecloth was made prior to 1957 when Collier City was changed to Marco Island. Then, when Disney opened in 1971, Belmont updated the design by adding Cinderella's Castle, but all the other 1940s graphics were kept in place.

I AM NOT AN EXPERT WHEN IT COMES TO GAUGING THE CONDITION OF USED OR VINTAGE ITEMS.  I EXPLAIN AS MUCH AS I CAN AND TAKE MANY PICTURES AT DIFFERENT ANGLES TO SHOW GREATER DETAILS.
