ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume on Napoleon Bonaparte!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique volume is over 110 years old!

1st Edition with dust jacket.

In great condition overall!  Original publisher dust jacket is in great shape, showing just light soiling and wear.  Protected with a mylar cover.  Green cloth binding is in great shape as well, showing just light soiling and rubbing, general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some spotting and soiling to the page edges, including the gilt top edge.  Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume!  Tight and square!

Internally, this volume is in good shape as well.  Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding.  There are no bookplates, signatures, inscriptions or library markings to note.

The text block of this volume is clean throughout.  There is typical age-related toning to the pages, as well as light foxing and soiling scattered throughout, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.  Perfectly readable throughout!

Nicely illustrated with full page plates, and a folding diagram in back.  Make sure to see the additional photos below for a thorough look through this antique tome!

349 pages.

Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches thick.

A perfect addition to any fine collection or a wonderful gift for someone special!
