This is an original press photo. Eye to Eye ... A fox and a hound strike up an unlikely friendship in Walt Disney Productions' 20th animated feature, "The Fox and the Hound." In color by Technicolor, this classic tale of two young animals who are born enemies, but sworn friends, was co-produced by Wolfgang Reitherman and Art Stevens, and directed by Stevens, Ted Berman and Richard Rich for executive producer Ron Miller. Based on the book by Daniel P. Mannix, the Buena Vista release features the vocal talents of Mickey Rooney, Kurt Russell, Pearl Bailey, Jack Albertson, Sandy Duncan, Jeanette Nolan, Pat Buttram and Paul Winchell.
