This is a large old African chalkware/plaster item measuring 79cm in length, 31cm in height, and 19cm in width. It's paint is very flakey and still easily coming off. 

I'm not sure of exact age or make as although it does have the makers mark on the bottom it's not very clear. (see photo) I think it is from the 1950s and is in the style of Diomede Nieri or Arnova Studio.
