Vintage Bohemian Cut White Overlay to Cranberry & Clear Cylinder Vase with Hand Painted Flowers

We are pleased to offer for your consideration this vintage Bohemian overlay cut to cranberry cylinder vase. The vase features three different hand painted floral bouquets around the sides and smaller sprigs on the top and bottom sides between all the cuts. The artistry is incredibly beautiful! This vase was made in the early 20^th century by old world craftsmen. The detailing of the hand painted flowers is evidence of their skilled craft. Attractive tulips, chrysanthemums, roses and other wild flowers are abundantly represented. An interesting item that we wanted to point out is the fact that normally you will see the white overlay over cranberry color only. In this version, there is an added inner clear glass layer, which is why you see clear areas in the cutting. You will look long and hard to find a nicer example.

Measurements: The cylinder vase measures approximately 6.5” in height x 2.25” in diameter. This vase weighs approximately 1 lb, 2 ounces. All measurements are approximate, but close.

Condition: We carefully examined this item. NO Chips, Cracks, Scratches, Repairs or Restorations were noted. There are a few tiny manufacturing flaws. Little ‘pin’ nicks we noted along the cut arches, and a closed bubble on the underside. They are tiny and you can see them when you examine the enlarged photographs. This vase has been previously used and there are some debris and stains on the bottom, inside the vase which we have not tried to remove. Not noticeable when displayed.
