USS Garrett County (LST-786) was a tank landing ship of the United States Navy that served during the Vietnam War. The ship was named after Garrett County, Maryland, and was commissioned in 1944 during World War II.

During the Vietnam War, the USS Garrett County participated in Operation Game Warden and Operation Market Time, which were aimed at interdicting enemy supply lines and preventing the movement of arms and supplies by sea. The ship was used to transport troops, equipment, and supplies to various locations in South Vietnam and also provided fire support for ground troops.

After the Vietnam War, the USS Garrett County was decommissioned in 1971 and sold to Greece, where it was renamed the HMGS Samos (L-102). The ship served in the Greek Navy until it was retired in 2003 and later scrapped.
