About us: ESTABLISHED IN 1967, the GEOFF COX family business has been trading for over 55 years. Originally founded at Kilburn Tollbar, Derbyshire, and at Ripley. From 1967 until 1990, the founder Geoff Cox operated as a sole trader and successfully established a reputation for a reliable supplier of family cars. In 1991, we decided to develop the larger original site at Kilburn to concentrate building our identity as a major Midlands located Retail Car and Motorhome Centre.
In 2003 Geoff Cox became a Dealer for CI Motorhomes and later specialised in Rollerteam and Tribute motorhomes also. In 2005 Geoff Cox were appointed as a Euramobil / Karman Dealer and began selling VW based coach-built motorhomes until 2012. In 2009 Geoff Cox were appointed an Adria Dealer, and later in 2012 they decided to concentrate on the Adria brand and in 2014 were awarded ‘Adria Dealer of the Year’ for the first time, an award which are proud to have wonanother 3 times.
In 2015 we continued to focus our efforts on providing the best possible service to our customers. We re-established the supply of Euramobil motorhomes along with additional brands from Adria such as Sun Living.
In 2020 we expanded and moved to our new dedicated Leisure site in Marehay, allowing us to accommodate more vehicles than ever before. Also, at the start of 2020 we were appointed a Dealer for Wildax motorhomes, which allows us to offer a wider range of panel vans and campervans to our portfolio.
From 2023 Geoff Cox Leisure remain a dedicated dealer for Adria, Wildax and Euramobil brands.

Warranty: USED VEHICLE WARRANTY

All of our pre-owned motorhomes & caravans unless stated otherwise receive our standard 80-point base vehicle and 120-point habitation check.

With all our used vehicles we assume (unless stated otherwise) that the vehicle purchased no longer benefits from any manufacturer’s warranty. Therefore, we are pleased to advise that all our used vehicles are supplied with our 12 months ‘Motorhome Plus’ mechanical and electrical warranty. This provides cover for the base vehicle and conversion in the event of a sudden mechanical or electrical breakdown of any electrical or mechanical component listed in our warranty booklet.

The maximum amount per claim is £1000 inc VAT. There is no limit to the number of claims.

Items not covered by our warranty.

Unfortunately, on used vehicles we kindly advise that we do not cover wear and tear items or cosmetic items such as (but not limited to) body and paintwork, decals, upholstery, work surfaces, window panels, window blinds / flyscreens, brakes pads/discs, tyres, batteries, bulbs, catches. Our warranty doesn’t include vehicle recovery and flat battery assistance; we recommend that you purchase adequate breakdown or recovery assistance cover along with your vehicle insurance. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer and warranty on any items not fitted as part of the manufacturer’s original specification or audio/visual items (unless supplied new) such as satellite, radio, TV, or motor movers.

The warranty period starts with the handover of the vehicle to the purchaser.

Our warranty also covers you to have the repair carried out by a third party of your choosing however they must be competent to carry out the repair to your satisfaction. In this case we will authorise a re-imbursement of an hourly labour rate of £60.00 per hour and parts at RRP. Any re-imbursements may take up to 14 days to return.

Terms and Conditions: Manufacturers continue to incur inflationary costs due to global shortages and supply problems and this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. This situation is beyond their control.
Any contract that you agree with them will be regulated by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Contract Law. This ensures the following:

• PRICE - If the dealership unilaterally increases the price stated in the contract, then you do not have to accept the increase and that in these circumstances you have the right to cancel your contract and any payments made e.g., deposit must be reimbursed in full.
• SPECIFICATION - If there is any “material” (i.e., significant) changes in specification that are not on like-for-like or better than those you originally agreed to, then you do not have to accept them and you have the right to cancel your contract and any payments made e.g., deposit must be reimbursed in full.
• DELIVERY - If the dealership fails to deliver the vehicle within 53 days of the estimated delivery date (or if the contract has an extended delivery period that is reasonable), you may specify a period of time that is appropriate in the circumstances and require the dealership to deliver the leisure vehicle before the end of that period. If delivery does not occur, you may treat the contract as at an end (ideally cancelled in writing) and any payments made e.g., deposit must be reimbursed in full.
Taking the information above, into account Geoff Cox Leisure agree to reserve a motorhome build slot in your name without the garauntee of a firm delivery date, price or specification. All the information provided at the time of order may be subject to change and we kindly ask you to consider at this point whether you are happy to proceed with the order before signing.
A reservation fee will be charged for reserving your vehicle and will be deducted from the final balance of the vehicle. This may be refunded only if the criteria above have not been met/ prior to the vehicle being produced. Once the vehicle has been produced you will be invited to inspect the vehicle and a deposit of 10% or the final balance will be required prior to collection. It will not be possible to refund the reservation fee at this time.
For used vehicles we advise that we make the vehicle available for full inspection before agreeing to purchase so that you may be fully aware of the condition of the vehicle prior to purchase.
