This vintage (2005) Mori Lee Ball Gown is a real Princess dress.  Many layers of tulle and crinoline give this dress it’s fullness.  Although it’s vintage, it is not out of style and a very classic dress.  Many designers keep something like this in their collections.  This dress has a square neckline with jeweled spaghetti straps.   Bodice has embroidery and lots of sequins.

I thought it was white but when I held a white sheet of paper next to it, it read more ivory than white.   There isn’t a tag inside identifying the color.  The people I bought it from also identified it as ivory.

Please read this:  Unfortunately, it has some condition issues with the tulle outer skirt.   There is about a 24-inch section of binding missing on the hem.   There is about an 18-inch tear in the tulle near the bottom.   It looks like a bride got her high heel stuck and tore it (see photo).  The missing binding in in the same general area as the tear in the tulle which is the left side as you look at the photos.   There is also about a 3-inch tear in the tulle in a different area.  I think this dress needs to be repaired by someone with some skills and not something I felt comfortable repairing.  The need for repair is reflected in my price.  Anyone who works on wedding dresses can make the tear nearly invisible.   There is one of the flowers on the tulle that is kind of gold color. I am not sure what the significance is of this being another color.  May have meant something to the bride that wore this dress (see photos).  I'm not trying to make money on this dress - just cover some of my costs.  I bought from a seller who wasn't honest about the condition.

The dress is clean with no makeup, food, or sweat stains.  It does have some dust or dirt stains on the bottom of the skirt.

The dress is on a size 10/12 mannequin, and it fits perfectly.

The measurements on the mannequin are:

Bust 37"; Waist 27"; Hip 38"

The height of the mannequin is set to about 5’8” and the front of the dress is too short by a couple inches. So, the length is good for someone 5’6” or less.

Please make sure these measurements work with your figure:

Chest Measured on Front Arm Pit to Arm Pit (inch)

Waist Measured on Front (inch)

Length Measured on Center of Spaghetti Strap to Bottom of Hem (inches)

18 ½

14

57

It's hard to get an accurate length with so much tulle and crinoline.

If you need additional measurements, I’ll be happy to get those for you.

I tried to include photos of everything you might want to see.   If there is anything else you need a photo of, let me know.

I ship fast and package well.
