Weekend was a tabloid style sensationalist newspaper/magazine that treated its readers to a diet of celebrity news and gossip plus tales of ordinary folk caught up in moments of high drama, criminal exposes and confessionals from wrongdoers. It made use of the latest printing technology to offer high resolution full colour pictures that perfectly matched the lurid content of the magazine.

Weekend was printed on low grade newspaper and this doesn't usually age well.

However, this issue is in good vintage condition considering it's over 60 years old.

It has wear to the cover in keeping with its age and previous use.

Typical wear to the spine side. Minor tears and some discolouration from age.
