This cover was found leaning against the wall in an old a barn in Corryton, Tennessee.  This antique fireplace cover is a stunning piece from the 19th century. Made of cast iron, it features a beautiful embossed scenic design with cattle grazing in a pastural setting with a stream, hills, and trees. The cover is brown in color and has been well-preserved over the years. It would make a perfect addition to any collection of antique or architectural pieces. The cover is a rare find in the antique market and is original to its time period. Its unique design and quality material make it a must-have for anyone who appreciates antique pieces. This item is perfect to display in a living room, den, or study.  I was going to hang it on the wall, but just never got around to it. Heavy item and shipping weight is 25 lbs.
