  • This Mercury gear set was removed from a freshwater engine and is in excellent condition.
  • We have professionally cleaned and inspected each gear to guarantee it to be in great, working condition.
  • Please note that this is an original OEM gear set, not an aftermarket brand.
  • The forward does come with the bearing.
  • All the teeth on the gears are in great shape, with only minimal signs of wear. 
  • None of the gears have any rust or corrosion on them.
  • Purchase with confidence!
Please note that we do use a spray wax corrosion inhibitor to prevent the gears from rusting. When wax is used as an inhibitor, this can sometimes harden and make the bearing impossible to use. This can be heated to make the bearings spin freely again.
