This is an antique, very rare & large iron figural lamp with a shape of an heron on leaf. Art nouveau and art & craft lamp. Most probably made in Germany during first quarter of XX century. Exceptional model with half body lamp shade. Amazing design with large, voluptuous and the most impressive claws i have seen in this kind of lamps. Original antique condition and original gilt could paint with discoloration (even missing in some parts). It needs new electrified. This model has inspired similar modern models with half body light. A really beautiful and exceptional lamp for demanding collectors. Height is 42 centimeters. Long is 20 centimeters.
