Details: This upcycled embroidered cotton fabric coin bag is handmade by a rural Gujarati woman artist of my shop. The shoulder bag has 2 pockets . The main pocket is secured with velcro. Back pocket is unsecured. The crossbody bag has a lining of foam for strength. Its front side carries signature multicolored Gujarati cotton thread chain stitch beaded and sequins embroidery. This gypsy bag can be used for keeping coins and small cell phones. The exquisite piece is a must have if you are fond of art and like to carry ethnic accessories.

Art Value: Craft forms of Gujarat are probably the oldest in India. Apart from the formal artistry, the rural yet enterprising women of Gujarat have followed the folk tradition of Griha Udyog (home based business). They make regular day to day items ranging from food to embroidery to home decor items like this bag and much much more.
