12 bolt Chevy GEARS 3.31 ORIGINAL SS RING /PINION Carrier CAMARO CHEVELLE 1970.

This is a carrier and gears from a 1970 Chevelle SS396. I bought the car when I turned 16 in 1979 with 20K miles. I wanted to be quicker so I took this set out and put 4:11s in. This gear set is virtually flawless. No pitting or rust.  It is a must have for a proper Chevelle or Camaro restoration. The date codes are correct for a 1970s build. Aftermarket gears are not as quiet as original GM gears. This is a series 3 carrier.
