This seldom seen vintage 1970's OK Breil Sub 200 M diver has oodles of character and in my humble opinion presents markedly better in person.  The matte black dial is in lovely but not perfect condition as there are signs of hand drag and age-related wear.  The original lume on the dial and hands, which no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has aged deeply.  The black bezel shows wear and smoothly rotates bidirectionally.  The heavy duty all steel case shows honest wear and pitting.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "AUTOMATIC    INCABLOC    ALL STEEL    25 JEWELS" with "OK" followed by "BREIL" and "200 METRES" stamped in the center.  The crystal shows scratching.

The 25 jewels "PATENTED" stamped PUW 1461 automatic movement with quickset date function is clean, keeps accurate time and the date wheel rolls over at approximately 11:56 pm.  The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached.  After winding the sharply threaded non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had a solid power reserve of approximately 38 hours.  Given that this watch is more than 45 years old and considering the movement's unknown service history (there are some visible watchmaker service markings on the inside of the case back) a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.

This watch measures approximately 40 mm excluding the crown, approximately 43 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9.5 mm.  Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11.5 mm.

Given the vintage nature of this watch and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended.  As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.
