***********The movement received a complete overhaul in June 2021. Although no paperwork will be provided my watchmaker's service marking is etched on the inside of the case back.***********

This seldom seen vintage 1960's Jules Jurgensen diver has a grey "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial that is in lovely but not perfect condition as it shows aged related wear.  The original lume, which remains fully intact and emits a short-lived glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged to a perfectly matching toasted buttermilk hue.  The black bezel, which shows minor wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely.  The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with no visibly significant signs of oxidation.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "SWISS   WATER RESISTANT   INCABLOC   STAINLESS STEEL   H 63 201   ANTIMAGNETIC" with the Jules Jurgensen emblem stamped in the center.  The inside of the case back is stamped "JULES JURGENSEN CORP." followed by "SWISS."  Between the lugs at 6 o'clock are the stamped numbers "57273."  While the newly replaced crystal is in near pristine condition there is a difficult to see occlusion close to the 7 o'clock marker.  This can be most clearly seen in pictures 2 and 4, respectively.

The 17 jewels unadjusted Swiss "Jules Jurgensen Corp" and "H 59192" signed ETA 2472 automatic movement with quickset date function received a complete overhaul in June 2021.  Although no paperwork will be provided my watchmaker's service marking is etched on the inside of the case back.  The movement keeps accurate time with the date wheel rolling over automatically as it should.  The quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached.  After winding the HEV screw down crown 39 full revolutions the movement had a solid power reserve of approximately 42 hours.  The crown unscrews and screws back down perfectly as it should and winds smoothly.

This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10.5 mm.  Including the crystal case thickness measures approximately 11 mm.  This watch comes on a lightly used beige NATO strap that complements the patina beautifully.  It will likely accommodate up to an approximate 7 inch wrist.

Although the movement currently runs strong and keeps accurate time there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.

Please thoroughly read this entire listing and kindly ask any and all questions you may have prior to buying as this sale is final and no refunds of any kind will be given.  And please study the 12 high magnification pictures carefully as they are part of the description and serve as an accurate representation of the condition of this watch.

Expedited and insured shipping along with signature confirmation will be provided.  Thanks for looking!
