This seldom seen vintage 1960's Jules Jurgenson has a lovely silver "SWISS" only signed dial with polished hands.  As clearly seen in the pictures the seconds hand shows oxidation.  The beautifully cut all stainless steel twisted lugs midsize case shows honest wear with minor visible signs of oxidation.  The outer edge of the case back is stamped "JULES JURGENSON   INCABLOC   AUTOMATIC   SWISS   WATERPROOF   STAINLESS STEEL."  The crystal shows scratching with dust/debris/oxidation flakes from the seconds hand on its underbelly.

While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches I put up for sale the case back on this watch is torqued too tight for me to remove.  The automatic movement with semi-quickset date function runs strong, keeps accurate time and the date wheel rolls over at 12 am.  The semi-quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 20.5 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached.  After recently winding the non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement had an approximate 41 hour power reserve period.  The crown winds smoothly.  Given that this watch is more than 50 years old and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.

This watch measures approximately 33.5 mm excluding the crown, approximately 35.5 mm including the crown and approximately 17 mm between the lugs.  Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 6 mm.  Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 8.5 mm.  This watch comes on what may be its original "KREISLER U.S.A." stamped stainless steel bracelet that shows minor stretch.  I'd guestimate that it may accommodate up to an approximate 7 inch wrist.  As seen in picture 16 the link closest to the buckle/clasp allows movement/flexibility in how the bracelet contours to the wrist.  I'm assuming this is correct as it wears comfortably and feels solid.  If it's not correct then a watchmaker will need to make the necessary adjustment/repair.

Given the vintage nature of this watch and considering the movement's unknown service history a complete overhaul is recommended.  As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.  Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time.  Any servicing costs going forward are your responsibility.
