This seldom seen vintage 1980's Corvette, which came from the estate of its original owner, has under the damaged crystal a worn black dial. The lume on the hands, which is missing in spots and no longer glows after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear and signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "ALL STAINLESS STEEL INCABLOC AUTOMATIC." The crystal needs to be replaced.

The 17 jewels FE 4611A automatic movement with quickset date function runs strong, albeit slow, and the date wheel rolls over at 12 am. While the date and time can be set and the crown winds smoothly when attempting to move the hands backwards the crown unscrews. When this happens the crown can be screwed back on without issue. The quickset date function works flawlessly by pulling the crown out to the first position and then turning it counterclockwise until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the crown 39 full revolutions the movement lost about 12 minutes by the end of its approximate 42 hour power reserve period. A complete overhaul is required.

This watch measures approximately 36 mm excluding the crown, approximately 38.5 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the fixed bezel, is approximately 9 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 10.5 mm.
