These leads are designed to work with low amperage ungrounded domestic audio/video equipment with a 2 pin, fig 8, C8 power inlets such as CD players, streaming devices, DVD & Blu-Ray players, Sky HD Boxes, double insulated power supplies etc.
The cable made by United Wire & Cable uses 2 x 2.5mm² (50/0.25mm, 14 AWG) multi stranded high purity copper conductors in an aluminium foil screened configuration. This ensures a lower series resistance and prevents harmful airborne radio frequency interference (RFI) from being absorbed.
At the fig 8, C7 connector end of the lead there is a TDK ferrite choke, which filters out unwanted (EMI) noise and high frequency mains contamination.
Terminated with a good quality BS-1363A standard white UK 3 pin mains plug fitted with a 5 amp BS1362 fuse and a good quality IEC (C7) Fig 8, 2 pin, moulded white nylon female connector.
The lead is 1.5 metres long (4ft 11in) and has an 11mm diameter and is finished in an attractive red & black patterned flame retardant expandable fabric cover.
Plugged into A/V electronics this lead helps bring more depth and definition from your system.

Condition: This lead is hand-crafted and custom assembled using new parts and has been fully electrically tested for polarity, continuity and insulation and complies with all current UK legislation, IEC 60320 & British Safety Standards applicable to mains cables.
In addition it has been tested in my own system for a few hours, so should perform well from the outset with improvements gained from continued use.
