Two Wedgwood England Porcelain Napoleon Ivy Green Pattern Queens Ware 2 5/8" Cup and Saucer Sets 1815-2003
These are in Excellent Condition with No Chips No Cracks No Crazing. Very Nice Wedgwood England Porcelain Cup and Saucer Sets. These are in the Napoleon Ivy green pattern featuring a vine of green ivy in a ring around the border. It has green trim on the rim and it marked on the base " As used by Napoleon as St. Helena 1815". In 1815 when records show this pattern was first produced, Napoleon was banished to St Helen's Island, and it is believed that he used this Ivy Pattern, hence, the name, "NAPOLEON IVY." The line continued in production until 2003.
The cups measure 2 1/2" High x 3 5/8" Wide rim to rim. The Saucer measures 5 7/8" Wide rim to rim. I have provided a lot of pictures to best describe the condition of these Cup & Saucer Sets.
