Offered here is a very rare (unopened) traditionally made sea salt fresh from the Philippines.

Asin Tibuok is a prized ingredient in Filipino cuisine, adding a distinct salty flavor with hints of fruity coconut and smoke to dishes.

This dinosaur egg-looking salt allows you to break the premium rock salt into chunks and grate it over your food.

The production process, had been passed down for generations, results in a product known as asin tibuok.

It’s an oval piece of salt compacted into a clay mold that has been partially broken by the intense heat of the fire.

Considered an endangered heritage food by the Ark of Taste and the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity.

Made in the island of Bohol, Philippines.

The salt’s popularity worldwide has grown, and with it, interest in preserving the labor-intensive craft.

Its application is only limited by the boundaries of your culinary intrigue.

Approx: (1) Kilogram
