3-1/2 X3-1/2 this listing is for one tile with several for purchase. The tile is in overall good condition. There is some pre-existing mortar or grout but nothing too major. I did not notice any brakes or repairs.. the tile does have what looks to be a light coat of shellac which is often painted over fireplace tiles once they are installed to preserve them. Try to include all the detail in the photos.

Beautiful tiles made by Alhambra tile co, Santa Monica, 1926 to 1937 Alhambra was known for its beautiful rustic style with their unglazed embossed terra-cotta. Many of the tiles were made in a thick brick like setting to be used in the floors and stairs also known as the "Patio" series . There was also had the "Terrace " series which were more of a pitted and leather like surface made of quality but lower priced and the "Cordovan" which were more of an aged finish and dark in tone .The deep rich terra-cotta tones is what Alhambra tile co was known for. In 1926 they started production of the old original handmade style mission type roofing tiles. This was called the "El Dorado " series and became very successful shortly after opening a second location
