Antique Madame Alexander WENDY ANN Russian Doll 9” Composite Rare Madame Alexander Doll Stand.
This is a rare vintage Wendy Ann doll made by Madame Alexander in 1938. The doll stands at 9 inches tall and is made of composition material. It has red hair, black eyes, and a light complexion. She is all original and has a good face paint with little crazing and there are areas of crazing on her composition body. Her stringing is good, her red mohair wig is a little thin in the back of her head. Her back marked WENDY- ANN MME ALEXANDER NEW YORK. Her dress has deteriorated at the top section only and will need repaired and/or top replaced. Her tag has faded but if you look closely you can read Russian.
I bought this doll over 40 years ago. She was stored in a dry smoke free environment. See pictures for more detailed information. I am selling as is and all sales are final.
