On offer is this antique Meissen Augustus Rex hand painted figurine.
This one is 'Februarius' (February) and sees a young man/dandy ice skating. There is a plaque of fish to his right foot with the fish symbol for the zodiac Pisces / February. His hands are tucking into his jacket with the cold. A pin striped suit and pink hat.
The base carries the Augustus Rex mark.
Height of 10.5cm.
In good antique condition - a little dusty, selling as found. No chips, cracks or crazing other then the very tip of the ice skate on his grounded foot has been broken off. Doesn't detract/isn't immediately noticeable unless looking for it. Please consider photos.
