This is a truly delightful original vintage Jean MAIO lithographic print of lovely blonde ballet dancer. With the signature MAIO on the lower left of the picture it is framed in this heavy wooden frame which is veneered in teak.

Margaret Eugenia "Jean Maio" Stewart, was known for her "big eye" paintings in the 1960s and 1970s. Big Eye prints were incredibly popular in their day, both wonderfully kitsch and colourful they will look fabulous on a wall in any vintage styled room. 

Adorable collectors item and an ideal gift for anyone with a kitsch retro theme in their home. Also a wonderful prop for any film, TV or stage production set in the 1960s or 70s.

There is a paper label on the back prohibiting reproduction in several European languages.

In VERY GOOD vintage condition, there are a couple of light scuffs to the front of the picture and frame as well as a tiny chip on the bottom right corner of the frame. There is a larger hole on the back of the frame but this doesn't show when it is hanging.  Please see ALL photos and remember it is around 50 years old, pre-owned and pre-loved.
