DESCRIPTION:

GAF EverGuard TPO 6 in. cover tape is a 6 inch wide, non-reinforced TPO membrane backed with a butyl tape adhesive. It is highly adhesive to all materials especially to plastic, glass, steel, polycarbonate, wood, asbestos, fiberglass, textiles and concrete as well. It is also compatible with most building materials, metals, and flexible or hard plastics. The surface should be clean, dry smooth and dust free. Tape must be roller Well to fuse sealant to surface. Generally a silicone roller is used.

APPLICATION:

• For use in stripping-in primed galvanized edge metal, as a seam cover, and to install RapidSeam end laps.
• Prepartion and Installation: Using soap and water, clean the entire surface and roof membrane to be covered. Dry the entire area. Wipe area to be primed with a white cloth moistened with EverGuard TPO Cleaner. Brush or roller-apply the EverGuard Primer 3 inch (76 mm) onto each surface, carrying this past the ends 3 inch (76 mm). Install the EverGuard TPO 6 inch Cover Tape over the primer after flash-off and roll-in WELL with a silicone roller.
