Original editorial wrappers, cover with signs of wear and stamps, preliminary sheet with negligible loss on the lower corner and subtitle rubbed, paper slightly age-yellowed, owner’s stamps inside, overall a good copy.
Scarce early divulgative book in French on image transmission, including 82 b/w illustrations, with a Preface by Édouard Belin. Full title La Transmission des Images Principes Fondamentaux de la Phototélégraphie et de la Télévision – I. Phototélégraphie. It appears that a second part devoted to television has never been published. According to the Preface this was to be the first book in French treating the subject of television.
