It is made of black felt with gray and coral accents. It has a tear that is one inch long on the brim. It doesn't go completely through the felt for the whole inch. You could take some stitches to stabilize it. There are scattered small moth nibbles. See photos. The hat is wearable as it is, but I would advise stabilizing the tear.
