The brand Stipula It was founded by Renzo Salvadori in 1973.
At first the company worked in the manufacture of gold, silver items and ornamental leather accessories for prestigious companies.
Starting in 1977, the company began to focus mainly on the manufacture of desk accessories and in 1982 it began to manufacture fountain pens and writing instruments for other brands, but in 1991 it began manufacturing under its own trade name. “Stipula.”
The company has always been recognized for the precision in the choice of materials and the elegance of its products.

- Stipula pays tribute to Giovanni da Verrazzano (discoverer of New York and the port), whose journey north marked the beginning of a centuries-old relationship between Florence and New York, with an ultramarine blue celluloid fountain pen that reflects the color of the ocean crossed by the caravel by Giovanni da Verrazzano.
