This beautiful antique scythe from the 1800s was manufactured by W. Bingham Co, with the trademark "XLCR" arrow logo. The scythe is made of wood and cast iron, with the original handlle, hardware & blade. The blade is very long and measures about 30 inches in length. Likewise, the handle is about 59 inches. The logo, with the arrow, is clearly visible. Both handles are intact, and the bend in the handle is remarkable and pronounced.  This scythe has a lot going for it- the wood could be stained or kept as is. The blade could be easily cleaned up or kept as is.

The scythe was manufactured in Ohio in the 1800's, and was acquired from an estate in Mississippi. This is an exceptionally rare item, and would be a great addition to any collection.
