ASUS EEE PC 701 Netbook + case + power + accessories / CDs

Fires up sometimes (see: pics), but not consistently - there is an issue - needs a new Ubuntu / Linux build loaded.

Selling as Parts & Spares, but it *might* be a salvageable machine. I don't know. But I can't be bothered to take the time and need the space. :-)

It comes with a power-supply, an ASUS carry-case and assorted documentation (some crumpled; have been in the attic for many years). It is NOT under Warranty, even though the Warranty document turned up and is included in the items.

Includes an old MANDRIVA CD of programs, etc from LINUX magazine. 2008, I think?

A couple of pixels look to be gone on the screen (see: photo) but that was never noticeable / never gave me any problems when I used to use it.

All in all, a nice retro-computing package that will appeal to an enthusiast.
