The Chinar 28mm f2.8 is an underappreciated, budget lens. The foal length is ideal for family gatherings or snapping artistic wide angle
shots. Considering the price point, the lens gives great optical performance and colour rendition.
The aperture is snappy and the zoom smooth. The lens is free from the
usual foes of Haze, Fungus, dust and balsam separation (see Table)
This lens can be used on modern Sony mirrorless cameras via an
appropriate adapter (not included here but searchfor MD to NEX, usually around $15).
This lens is in excellent condition with very few signs of use. I recently acquired another lens in this focal range and therefore I thought I'd move it on. I am a keen amateur photographer selling lenses that I no longer have use for, not just an on-seller and have used this lens myself, therefore I feel qualified to sell this lens in good conscience and to answer any questions you have.
