Suit rebind. Some staining to the covers. Leather spine and covers are secure to themselves however the text block is loose within the bindings. Front prelims have detached and a couple of pages are loose as shown. Lacks frontis otherwise all 38 plates are present as per list of plates. Several page clusters are wobbly and sitting proud of the text block. There is a small tear to the bottom corner of page 117. Light foxing/age staining present around the plates otherwise vast majority of pages are clean and well presented. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a solid, early edition David Copperfield that is primed for the rebind it so deserves. We are not Charles Dickens 1st Edition experts and understand that there are many nuances that identify these early printings.
