This shows LOTS of wear from age, use and storage. As for the file itself, it is very heavy duty (you do not want to run your fingers across this, it is solid and the tips are sharp). The total length from end to end is around 14-3/4", the file itself is around 12". It comes as pictured with no handle. One side is rounded and the other is flat. It also shows signs of moisture wear. This was removed from a "cabin" that has not seen the light of day for 8+ years, and, before that was visited maybe once every few years. It does have a musty-being stored in a old toolbox odor.
