Antique 1920s Erté Era Corded Silk Velvet, chenille corduroy Dress. Colorful Embroidered detail along each side of the waist with long swinging silk Tassels with metallic thread and long hanging fringe.

The side appliqués have brown glass accents with blue paint. Colorful embroidered cording along the collar. Silk covered buttons and button holes along the bust. The gown is weighted and the skirt is lined in brown silk.

The use of corded (corduroy) silk velvet and the button treatment hit on folk costume colors with trim detailing— Russian influences. Erté was Russian.

Overall great vintage condition. Bottom back hem is undone. Some slight wear on cord detail in some
