This beautiful Antique Western Electric Candlestick Telephone, with a 1915 patent date, is a true collector's item. It has been refurbished to work on a regular phone line and comes with a Walnut 295A ringer box with the last patent being issued in 1907 and stated as patent pending. The phone has been modified internally to ensure its functionality to work on today's lines, as seen in the photos. The earpiece on the candlestick phone has had some of the rim break, which isn't too noticeable. There is some slight paint that has flaked off in places as well.

This was tested and has nice and crisp sounding ringing bells, much louder than anticipated. I was able to hear through the earpiece with clear sound and was told that my voice carried through to whom I was talking to really well too! I'm conflicted with letting this go or keeping it.

The antique phone bears all the classic features of a candlestick telephone, with a sleek design and being functional. The cords are in amazing, near original condition. The 295A ringer box looks amazing, too!

It is a great addition to any collection or vintage-themed setting. Don't miss out on the chance to own this piece of history in working order.

This phone came from a lifelong New York Telephone employee whose job it was to retrieve the boxes from payphones and titled a coin collector. He has an extensive collection and would go through each one to keep them as original as possible but in some cases, also functional. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history with history behind it!
