Vtg Rare WWll Waller Field Service Album Photo Book Suede Cover With Sigs 1942

Softcover, oblong small quarto measuring 11 1/2" x 8 1/2". String-tied suede cover photo album. 

This base was stashed between Arima and Cumtuo in Tranidad, 32 km from the captal city Port of Spain. The American Air Force Base was named Waller Air Force Base during World War II, it was activated on September 1st, 1941. It was named after a WWI combat pilot, Major Alfred Waller, who was killed in an air crash.
