1 of 1250! THE NOVELS OF JANE AUSTEN from 1906 in a 12 Volume Complete Set published by Frank S. Holby in his Stoneleigh Edition which was limited to 1,250 numbered and registered copies, this set being number 889.

I tried to do as much detail as 24 pictures allows, each book has "800" written in pen on the pastedown endpaper, the numbered limited edition page, full cloth cover, deckled edges and a gilt top edge. The bindings are in a full range of conditions as some books have clearly been enjoyed more than others. On the high end, Northanger Abbey and the second book of letters appear still unread with pages uncut. On the lower end would be Pride and Prejudice Part 1, the threads around page 170 have come loose enough that the picture there could fall out but it and all pages are still included. If there is a crack showing on the spine, typically it is located at a similar location for the text block to be loosened inside.

Despite the wear on the volumes that were well read, the pages remain clean with no liquid damage and I spotted no owners markings.
