Rare (?) Lufthansa cloth napkin along with 3 MCM design stainless steel utensils all designed by Wolf Karnagel.
Karnagels' motto of "Aesthetic design with functional use" is on display in these pieces.

The fork is just under 7" long and marked verso "Design Wolf Karnagel  1987 WMF".
The front has a "LUFTHANSA" incised/stamped on the handle.
It is in very good condition but has a scratch on the back of the handle by the designer's name as shown in the 4th photo..

The knife is also just under 7" long and  marked verso " Design Wolf Karnagel"  1988 HEPP"
It is also has a stamped/incised "LUFTHANSA'" on the front side of the handle.
It appears to be NOS as it has a very thin plastic film like wrapper on portions of it. Some of this has pulled away..
Note that there appears to be a scratch on the back of the knife in the photos. It is not a scratch but the plastci packing film covering which has pulled away at various spots.

The coffee spoon (Kaffee loffel) is 5" long and marked verso "Lufthansa Design Wolf Karnagel    88 Pinti"
It has the Lufthansa crane logo stamped or incised on the front of the handle.
It is also in good shape with some usual minor wear marks.

The napkin has "LUFTHANSA" tastefully lightly printed on one corner and has button hole to allow for a bib like use on those turbulent flights.
One hates to get schmutz on one's shirt during the flight.

A nice flatware lot with the unusual napkin along with it.
