Dating from the period of WW1, this is a Royal Berkshire Regiment enamelled gilt brass sweetheart brooch. Sweetheart brooches were given by servicemen to their loved ones and close relatives as a love token. Scratched annotation on reverse, '1916'

Approximately 22mm high and 26mm wide. In very good antique condition. Enamel intact. Original pin missing. Condition is fully and honestly depicted in images, which should be taken as part of the condition description.
