Description:

 Original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: The Malkin Tile works,Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England.  This tile was made about 1905. The floral decoration is embossed by Dust-press technique, where clay powder is compressed under high pressure in a mold. The reverse side is not marked.

Size: 6" square

Condition: Very good condition tile with very bright glaze. Only very light traces of use.

You can meet me at tile fairs in Germany: stadt Zons in March or in September in Boizenburg and der Elbe.  I also go to England every year for the tile fair organised by the TACS. The fair in England always takes place on the first Saturday of October in Nottingham.
