This is a well preserved AllStar catcher glove/mitt. Model: CM3000SBK . Size: 32 inches. Anyone who is familiar with the catching world knows AllStar’s CM3000 line… it’s been a staple for catchers in the MLB for years: tops in quality, and Tops in price. I have owned and worked at least 10 of them, but this one is easily the oldest. It’s a real step back in time to the roots of the CM3000 line. From its coloration, to its stampings, and my favorite the star-emblazoned web, it shows how the modern day glove got to where it is. At this size, it is obviously the forerunner of the current-day CM3000XSBT. First fully disassembled, then cleaned, conditioned, the finished with a full relace in all black leather lace.
