Rare and unique VINTAGE wall art CSA memorabilia piece copying a Confederate States of America Half Dollar token that was manufactured and circulated in the United States in the 1860's.   The token included the date of 22 February 1862 and the motto 'Deo Vindice' and featured intricate details and symbols representing the history and heritage of the Confederate States.

This chalkware wall art piece duplicates that token in an oversized fashion. 

Maker's sticker "Mencarini, Inc Morgantown, N.C #413"

Face is painted gold with areas of red detail; Reverse side is painted a a terra-cotta color.
One minor chip on the bottom - see photos.

Same owner since 1960's; unknown manufacture date.

Measurements: 13" diameter, ~3/4" thick
