 Bracelet Sizing

The wrist size is the measured by taking a cloth tape measure around the portion of your wrist where you want to wear the bracelet.

The bracelet size measurement is the TOTAL inner circumference of the bracelet. Total circumference refers to the total circular measurement: the end to end measurement (taken on the inside of the cuff bracelet) + the gap. That total measurement is the approximate size of wrist the bracelet will fit.

For example, you will see measurements written like this, 5 1/2" plus a 1" gap = 6 1/2”.  That means the total inner circumference is 6 1/2".

The gap or opening is usually 1" to 1 1/4".  Smaller size bracelets will have a little smaller opening and as the bracelets size get bigger, it will have a larger opening.

Some bracelets can be adjusted a little bit at the opening.    Always be careful doing this.  NOT all bracelets can be adjusted and you can loosen stones or damage inlay.  Repeated bending of any bracelet, will cause the metal to break.
