Best Quality!!! Made in Japan by FET CATZ

Great for Cars, Trucks, Motor Cycles, SUV's, ATV's, Golf Carts, Mini Bikes, Moped's and even Motorized Bar Stools!

To utilize the maximum amount of usable light from a given wattage, CATZ employs the latest in space-age materials and computer-aided-design to put your lighting system in complete focus. The MSR features a complete die-cast aluminum housing for maximum heat dissipation, combined with a unique "Multi-Surface Reflector" and "Hyper Bulb." It is the combination of a three dimensionally curved multi-surface reflector and a clear or gold iridium coated Borosilicate glass lens that projects much more usable light, focused in the area you need. Our testing has shown that this special reflector and a lens combined with a 55-watt Hyper Bulb will give you the same illumination as bulbs requiring almost twice the wattage using a standard reflector and a cut glass lens. This makes the MSR the world's most technically advanced fog light.

Super Wide 110° FOG LIGHT BEAM PATTERN

----------------Catz Features and benefits Glossary--------------

AMBER, Gold or YELLOW lenses---Best for adverse weather conditions by reducing glare and increasing depth of field. GREAT for cars with HID (High Intensity Discharge) or HID look alike bulbs. One of the problems with HID or blue colored light is you lose depth of field.

BOROSILICATE GLASS--- Glass utilized in all CATZ lenses. Boron and Silicon are mixed with clear glass to form a lens which is hard and therefore more resistant to cracks, chips, and scratches. Since borosilicate glass has no tempered coating, it dissipates heat more efficiently giving you a longer lasting bulb.

COOLING FINS---Cooling fins are a built in part of the design of most all CATZ lights as one of the many ways to dissipate heat. Keeping the bulb cool is the key to the longest bulb life possible.

DIE-CAST ALUMINUM HOUSING---Light weight and rugged lamp housing utilized by CATZ. Aluminum is best for heat dissipation, the best way to have a long lasting bulb.

FOG LIGHT BEAM--- Light beam which is cast wide and low so as not to reflect light from fog back into the driver's eyes. It is best suited for driving in inclement weather such as fog, snow, and rain. Fog light beam patterns are also great for driving on twisting curved roads because of the wide beam pattern. (See also: Driving Light Beam, Fog Light Beam, and Spotlight Beam.)

GOLD IRIDIUM COATING--- Optional Electro-Statically applied coating on some lamp lenses and bulbs. Gives light beam an amber color which reduces glare and aids depth perception. Gold Iridium coating also gives the lens/reflector a very attractive appearance. The Main benefit is the gold color light with only about 3% to 5% loss of light as compared to about 20% to 30% that you would lose with the old technology Yellow Glass lenses.

HYPERBULB--- Halogen bulbs utilized exclusively by CATZ. This bulb uses a high pressure charge of Xenon gas, which has excellent thermal efficiency. Standard halogen bulbs use a lower pressure charge of Bromine gas, which is not as thermally efficient. Use of Xenon gas increases the bulb's luminous flux by more than 20% thereby giving light which has a distinct brilliant white quality, and is far brighter than light produced by Bromine bulbs of the same wattage. The Hyperbulb also utilizes an extra thick filament for long life. Since the wattage and heat do not increase, the Hyperbulb will last 30% longer than conventional halogen bulbs with equal brightness. Available in 55 and 85 watt configurations and with or without a Gold Iridium coating. The Hyperbulb is utilized in the MSX, MSP, MSR, SR, and MSC lamps.

LIGHTED LED SWITCH--- LED monitor switch whose small size makes it very easy to mount in the cockpit. LED indicator light informs the driver, at a glance, whether the lamps are on or off.

MELAMINE FINISH--- Tough 2-step finish applied to our Die-Cast Aluminum Housings. Electro statically applied, differing from a baked on powder coat finish, Melamine is utilized because of its superior heat dissipation characteristics and resistance to scratches and chips. (Heat Dissipation is the key to long lasting bulbs)

MULTI-SURFACE REFLECTOR--- Computer designed reflector which focuses over 1700 points of light reflection per square inch into the area where it is needed. This technology eliminates the need for a fluted lens, as the light is aimed by the reflector, rather than the lens. Elimination of a fluted lens helps to prevent light from being lost as stray light or "scatter". The result is 70% more luminous efficiency than a conventional parabolic reflector lamp with a fluted lens. Multi-Surface Reflector technology is used by the XSL, XLO, MSR, MSP, MSX and MSC lamps.

PRE-ASSEMBLED WIRE HARNESS--- Complete, assembled wire harness featuring an easily mountable high capacity relay, in line GM style fuse, a lighted switch, color coded wires, and plug in connections for easy installation. Virtually eliminates the need for wire cutting and crimping.

VACUUM VAPORIZED CHROME REFLECTORS---The Chrome is super clear and also includes a electro statically applied heat resistant silicone coating to reduce moisture build up, rust, moisture build up and browning. The main benefit is the clarity of the chrome giving you the most light output possible.

The dimensional area of each light w/o mounting bracket is 5"x3"x1/12" and with mounting bracket is 6"x3"x3" (L x W x H).
