Up for sale is a commemorative medal depicting composer Georg Friedrich Haendel, who lived from 1685-1759.
Description: The piece is made from iron, and measures about 28.5mm in diameter. It is listed as Niggl 808, Andorfert & Epstein (1862) 117, and Wurzbach 3488.
These were struck at the Royal P*ussian Iron Foundry in the early-mid 1800s, modeled by C. Voigt and Pfeuffer, under mint director Gottfried Loos.
Condition: Nice condition with minimal wear and an old patina to the surface. Please examine the photographs for further details and qualities.
