Antique Famille Jaune 14" Foo Dog Lamp RARE Unique Chinese Collectible *Lamp Works!*

This foo dog lamp is not only unique, but extremely RARE!

This foo dog is primarily yellow, the designation of Famille Jaune. The Famille Jaune color palette was introduced in China during the Kangxi period (1654–1722), possibly around 1720.

The foo dog is a bright, vibrant yellow with green back and royal blue, mauve, white and green accent colors on the head and back. It has what appears to be a candlestick holder for a tail. The mouth is open showing teeth and tongue. His paw is on top of, protecting the orb "world".
The base of the foo dog is brown with a green triangular accent, and is mounted on an dark brown, Asian style wood base with a gold lamp. The lamp function works!

The foo dog statue itself measures approximately 14" tall, 5" wide at the base and 4" deep at the base of the statue. The wood Asian style lamp base it is mounted on measures approximately 8" x 8" 2". The overall height of the lamp is 31".
